This was done very quickly so I didn't have time to put in much detail.There is so much going on I am always making editing decisions as I decide what to represent with pencil in my sketchbook.

Sketching sidewalks
This blog is about my process of gathering imagery for my work. I've been carrying around a sketchbook and while waiting for the bus (or other waiting times) sketching sidewalks, cracks in them, and what accumulates, decays, and grows in those cracks.
I've been finding it difficult to describe with only drawing what I see and what I'm thinking about. I want to name and identify things, so I often write down notes and lists in my sketches like this one. Here's a link to my flickr site which shows more of these sketches.
